Fashion is always innovating, evolving and creating new chapters in its continuing story. Variations in colour, contrasting effects, floral prints and animal markings which remind us of our own animal instincts, are combined with written messages. There is one colour which stands out, widely showcased on the catwalk: red.

Red is the most communicative colour: it represents love, strength, heat and passion. Passion is an emotion which guides all our choices – it cannot be reasoned with and wins over logic and rational thinking. Passion lets us lose ourselves in whatever we believe in. it makes difficult or sad circumstances better, and makes us determined and persuasive. passion cannot be described but can only be experienced. Passion colours everything it touches.

NEW TRENDS: CLOTHING AND COLOURS ON THE CATWALK

The decisive steps of models and actresses on the runway help draw attention to the fashion houses they represent. It can seem like an imaginary world of female warriors, dressed in denim or futuristic metallic clothes, lit by multicolour crystals.
The main colours are Grey, ranging in shades from smoke and anthracite, to light metallic silver tones. Black and White are timeless icons which create a contrasting effect between dark depths and the purity of the light. Flashes of Gold glitter along with a gentle powder Pink and a deep pink complements Orange.
The light and dark Brown tones of mother Earth give warm and cool tones which range from dusty brown to golden brown. Blue gives a classic cool elegance which is often complemented by black or grey.
